Borewell Submersible Pumps are vertical, multistage, centrifugal pumps with a motor at the bottom and a pump on the top. They help in accessing the groundwater which is a widely used pump in agriculture. A borewell pump has a motor at the bottom and pumps on the top. The water entry is from the bottom of the pump and flows upwards through many stages. The impellers made up of stainless steel rotate inside the diffusers with inherent guide vanes. With the help of the diffusers, water is directed from one impeller to the next impeller suction. Such a flow through each stage of the impeller and diffuser increases the water pressure at each stage and finally, water is discharged through the outlet from the top.
